The Barrels and Brews crew: Justin, James, and Dan the Bearded Dram met us at Greeze's house for a little whiskey drinkin'. We learn quite a bit about the process of picking single barrel "store picks" from retailer's perspective. We hype Justin's picks a lot, so we figured it was time we had him on to hear from the source about his experiences. Then, after the 15, they have Ezra B. 12 year-old Single Barrel and give it the buy, bar, pass treatment.
Will and the Greeze make it out to the Made South barn after what feels like an eternity. Will, the Greeze, Chris, and Joe Bourbon all bring a secret bottle in a brown bag and pour it for everyone. Then after everyone gives their thoughts/guesses, it is revealed. Our friends Chris and Phil provided the Krystal burgers for the night.
